Everything you need to know before you book.

Do you provide hair, or should I bring my own?
Hair is not included in the service price unless otherwise stated at booking. We recommend bringing your own preferred brand. Not sure what to buy? Message us before your appointment and we'll guide you on type, length, and quantity for your chosen style.
Should my hair be washed and blown out before my appointment?
Yes — please arrive with clean, detangled, and fully dry hair. Blown-out or stretched natural hair is ideal for braid services. Arriving with wet or matted hair may result in a shorter appointment or additional charges.
Is a deposit required to book?
Yes, a deposit is required to hold your appointment. The deposit amount varies by service and is applied toward your total. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 24 hours will forfeit the deposit. Repeated no-shows may result in being required to prepay in full for future bookings.
How long do appointments usually take?
Service times vary by style and hair length. As a general guide: cornrows 1–2 hrs · knotless braids 3–6 hrs · micro braids 5–8 hrs · loc retwist 1–3 hrs · crochet 1.5–2.5 hrs · barbering 30–60 min. We'll confirm the estimated time when you book.
Do you braid children's hair?
Absolutely. We welcome kids of all ages. We're patient, gentle, and experienced working with younger clients. We recommend booking a shorter or simpler style for first-time visits so your child is comfortable.
Do you offer men's braids and barbering?
Yes — we offer a full range of men's services including braids, cornrows, stitch braids, precision haircuts, fades, beard shaping, lineups, and hot towel shaves. Men's services are available by appointment.
How do I choose the right braid size or length?

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Zelle, CashApp, and major debit/credit cards. Please note that card payments may include a small processing fee. Confirm payment method at booking.
Do you accept same-day or walk-in appointments?
We are primarily by appointment. Same-day availability is limited — call or text us at (845) 558-3990 and we'll let you know what's open. Booking online in advance is always the best way to secure your preferred time.
